1. The service and our independence
These terms apply to VRTL Index at www.vrtlindex.com, an independent community project operated from Montenegro under the VRTL Index public-facing brand. We provide free creator tools, downloadable scripts, guides and community listings for IMVU and Second Life, alongside optional services clearly identified as paid.
VRTL Index is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with IMVU or Together Labs, or Second Life or Linden Lab. We are also independent of Google, Discord and the Blender Foundation. Their names and logos identify relevant platforms and remain the property of their respective owners. Our tools do not override those platforms' terms or permissions.
Review these terms before creating an account, submitting a profile or ordering a service. A paid order also requires a written confirmation of its supplier details, scope, total price and delivery arrangements before payment. VRTL Index is a brand name, not a representation of incorporated-company status.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must meet the age and eligibility requirements of applicable law and any platform you use. The site is not directed to children under 13. Obtain parental or guardian permission where legally required. Paid services must be ordered by an adult with authority to enter the agreement.
Accounts use Wix authentication, with Google social sign-in and email sign-in where available. Provide information you are entitled to use, protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another creator, brand or platform representative.
Creating an account does not automatically publish a directory profile, approve an application, confer verification or start a paid subscription. The Privacy Policy explains account and submission data.
3. Directory submissions and your content
Submit only a profile you own or are authorized to represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of your name, role, links and claims, and for having permission to use submitted artwork, trademarks and other content.
You keep your rights in your content. By submitting it for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to store, display, resize and format that content as needed to review and operate your listing and related directory presentation. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your artwork.
Submissions are reviewed before publication. Approval, placement, continued listing and Launch 100 numbering are not guaranteed. We may request corrections, decline content or remove a listing under these terms. Verification, where shown, describes our stated check and is not an endorsement or guarantee of safety. Paid promotion does not buy verification.
Approved listings are public. Uploaded directory images are intended for public display and may be accessible by their media URL before review. You can request corrections or removal through Contact; we may verify your authority. Third-party caches and copies are outside our direct control.
4. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people. You must not:
- Submit impersonation, scams, deceptive claims, spam, harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse or someone else's private information without authorization.
- Upload unlawful content, malware, stolen assets, sexually explicit imagery, or material that infringes another person's rights. Do not use a general-audience directory image to expose visitors to explicit content.
- Bypass access controls, CAPTCHA, moderation, rate limits or payment requirements; probe private data; or disrupt the site or another service.
- Use automated bulk submissions or excessive requests that interfere with ordinary use, or harvest personal information from the directory for spam.
- Use scripts or webhooks in rooms, servers or accounts you do not control or have permission to manage, or use our tools to evade platform rules.
Report a problem with the relevant link and a clear explanation through Contact. We review reports; a report alone is not proof of wrongdoing.
5. Tool outputs, scripts and beta features
Tools and guides are aids to your workflow. Check generated code, text, dimensions, prices and permissions before relying on them. Keep original files and test scripts in a private or controlled environment. AI outputs may be inaccurate and require human review. Calculators provide estimates, not financial, tax or legal advice or guaranteed platform quotes.
Event Desk requires eligible IMVU Live Room scripting access and the platform's scripting controls. VIP membership alone does not establish access. It assists configured room actions and replies; it does not replace human moderation. We cannot grant platform access or promise approval, sales, engagement or compatibility with future platform changes.
Beta and prototype labels mean the feature is still being evaluated. Updates affect future downloads; you are responsible for reviewing and replacing an installed script. Browser-only drafts may be lost when you clear storage or change devices. Do not use the service as your only backup.
6. Optional €5 Event Desk setup assistance
The public builder stays free. The optional €5 one-time pilot for one event covers one configuration using the existing builder, one saved preset and its generated script, installation guidance and one revision within the agreed scope. It does not include event staffing, new custom features, ongoing support, platform subscriptions or guaranteed in-world results.
An inquiry is not a booking or a charge. Before payment, we confirm your scripting access, the requested scope, supplier identity and required contact details, delivery timing, final payable total including any applicable tax, payment method and cancellation information. Do not pay until you have that confirmation. Payment-provider currency conversion charges, if any, are controlled by that provider.
This setup service does not renew automatically. Do not share your IMVU, Google, Wix or payment passwords with us. You remain in control of installation and your own platform account.
7. Setup cancellations and refunds
- Before work starts: you may cancel the setup order and receive a full refund of any setup fee paid.
- If you request an early start: where a statutory cooling-off period applies, we obtain your express request to start during that period and any required acknowledgment before work begins. A general inquiry or payment alone is not treated as that request. If you then cancel, only a lawful, proportionate charge for work actually provided may apply, never more than the agreed total.
- After completion: once the agreed setup work is fully delivered, we do not offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds. This does not override an applicable withdrawal right that has not lawfully ended, or remedies for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered services.
- If we cannot deliver: we offer a refund for the undelivered service or a revised arrangement for you to accept. We do not substitute different work or dates without your agreement.
To cancel or report a problem, use Contact — Event Desk setup assistance with your order reference and request. No special wording is required. For example: “I want to cancel my setup assistance order agreed on [date]. My reference is [reference].” Refunds are handled through the original payment method where practicable and within the legally applicable time limit.
Your mandatory rights come first. Where consumer law grants a cooling-off period, including a 14-day period where applicable, these terms preserve it and its legally required information and consent conditions. Nothing here excludes your remedies for a service that fails to match the agreement.
8. Advertising, listings and other paid offers
Advertising beta: Standard Directory Listing requests are currently €0. The Homepage Spotlight launch demand-test price is €5 for 30 days with no automatic renewal; availability, the final total including any applicable tax, schedule, supplier details and cancellation rights are confirmed before payment. The submission form does not charge or create a subscription. Paid spotlights participate in a shared rotation during their agreed 30-day period; they do not reserve an exclusive or lifetime placement. A later booking requires a separate agreement. Submission, approval and actual publication are separate steps.
Invited founding partners: a free Premium invitation must be confirmed by VRTL Index. Confirmed partners may participate without placement fees while VRTL Index operates, subject to content rules and available rotating placement. This is not a reservation of an exclusive position or a promise of continuous exposure, traffic, or an indefinitely operating service. Selecting the invitation option alone does not confer approval, and we do not introduce charges without a separate agreement.
Advertising cancellations: before a paid placement starts, cancellation receives a full refund. If we cannot provide a confirmed placement, you may choose a full refund or agreed replacement dates. For an active placement interrupted by us, we offer replacement time or a proportionate refund for the undelivered part. Mandatory withdrawal rights and remedies remain unaffected.
The €5 setup policy above applies to setup assistance. Advertising placements, Featured listings, Weekend Edit and any existing recurring Pro Directory plan have the price, duration, renewal and cancellation terms shown for that particular offer and confirmed before purchase. We do not convert a one-time setup order into a subscription.
Paid placements buy the agreed placement, not a promised number of views, clicks or sales. If we cannot provide a confirmed paid placement, we offer a full refund or replacement dates for you to accept, as stated on our Advertise page. A mandatory consumer right takes priority over any offer-specific wording.
9. Intellectual property and third-party links
Unless a specific file or tool states a different license, you may use our tools and generated outputs for your own lawful personal or commercial creator work. You must have rights to your inputs and respect third-party licenses. We do not promise that an AI output is unique or free of third-party claims.
Do not claim ownership of the VRTL Index brand, copy the site wholesale, or sell our service under a misleading identity. Open-source components and separately licensed downloads retain their own notices and licenses.
Linked creators, shops, rooms and platforms are independent of us. We are not a party to purchases or disputes between you and a listed creator. Check their terms, age restrictions and content ratings before visiting or buying.
10. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service useful but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free free tools, permanent storage, third-party uptime or continued compatibility. We may maintain, update or withdraw free or experimental features. Confirmed paid work remains subject to its agreement and applicable remedies.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, free tools and informational content are provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for losses caused by your misuse, unreviewed outputs or independent third-party services. Nothing excludes responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud or other non-excludable liability. We do not claim that a disclaimer makes negligent or unlawful conduct immune from responsibility.
11. Moderation, suspension and closure
We may restrict abusive use, suspend an account or remove content when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law or protect users and the service. Where appropriate, we explain the reason and allow a correction or review request through Contact. Serious security risks or unlawful content may require immediate action.
You may stop using the service and request account or listing removal. Account closure does not automatically cancel a separate payment-provider agreement; contact us about any active paid plan. Necessary payment, consent, security or dispute records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes, questions and disputes
We may update these terms for future use as the service changes. The effective date identifies the version. Material changes receive any notice or consent required by law and do not retroactively change an already confirmed paid order without agreement.
Contact us first with a clear description of a problem so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration, waive your right to complain to a regulator, or remove access to a court or protection available under applicable consumer law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the rest applies only to the extent lawful.
