Understanding LindeX Fees & Cash-Out Strategies

Use the live converter to separate Linden dollar sale proceeds from withdrawal costs, compare fee assumptions, and understand the final payout quote.

An L$ balance, a USD credit balance and a payout received are three different amounts. Planning around the first number alone can overstate the money available after fees. Use this guide and its live calculator to follow each step.

Separate the sale from the withdrawal

Second Life’s pricing page lists a 5% LindeX selling fee. It also lists a standard 5% USD payout fee, with a US$3 minimum and US$500 maximum. These apply at different stages: selling creates USD credit, then a process-credit request withdraws eligible credit.

The current withdrawal guidance says payout fees vary by method and location. Use the quote in your payout screen when it differs from the standard schedule. Do not add another generic “Tilia fee” on top of a process-credit fee that already represents that charge.

Try the calculation here

The converter uses an official market-sell average when the feed is available and clearly labels its timestamp. You can choose a manual rate and enter a quoted process-credit fee. Neither this article nor the tool accesses your account or moves money.

This is a projection, not a guaranteed PayPal receipt. Order fills, cent rounding, account limits, method-specific fees and currency conversion can change the final payout. Use Tilia’s final quote to confirm.

Follow one example

At an example rate of L$250 per US$1, selling L$25,000 has a gross value of US$100. The 5% sale fee leaves US$95. Withdrawing that entire amount under the standard schedule costs US$4.75 and leaves US$90.25, before any separately entered costs or currency conversion. The example rate is not a live offer.

The calculator rounds its estimates in cents. Your actual fills, balance, account eligibility and payout quote determine the real outcome. A market average describes past activity rather than a guaranteed execution rate.

Compare timing without assuming a guaranteed saving

A minimum fee can make several small withdrawals more expensive than one larger request under the same schedule. Compare the total fees across your own possible amounts in the calculator, then consider when you need the funds. Holding a balance also means accepting rate changes, account constraints and the possibility of other account charges.

Changing the withdrawal amount does not change the selling fee already paid. Likewise, changing a creator’s product price is a different business decision from choosing when to withdraw. Keep these assumptions separate when you compare scenarios.

Check the final screen

Before proceeding in Second Life, confirm the amount, payout method, currency and quoted charges. The article provides planning estimates; it does not choose a withdrawal strategy for your individual finances. Revisit the linked platform guidance whenever fees or payout options change.
