Share this page for a blank workspace. Saved cases include your uploaded files, links and notes. Check a case before sharing it.
Ready. Add files to both sides, or try the demo.
1. Add your evidenceSelect several images, drop files onto a card, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V outside text fields. Start with URLs or PIDs in Links. Add names and context in Product details.
2. Inspect the same detailSwitch files, crop matching areas and use the overlay. Each image keeps its own crop and label.
3. Keep a review recordExport a comparison, or save the complete case to continue later or pass to another tester.
Compare one selected image from each side. Add multiple views, choose a pair, then save each detail as a separate comparison. Paste target: choose A or B above before Ctrl+V.

Filters help inspect visible details. They cannot separate texture design from mesh shape, printed patterns or lighting.
OBJ geometry · optional advanced check
You need two actual OBJ mesh files: the reference mesh on A and the comparison mesh on B. This is useful for staff reviewers or creators who can provide both files. Use files you own or that have been provided for review.
If you only have a product link or screenshot for B, this check cannot run. Use Images to inspect visible details instead. The tool does not obtain meshes from product IDs or grant staff access. Any internal access or export ability depends on the reviewer’s permissions and tools.
What does a geometry match mean?
It means triangle coordinates match after centring, uniform scaling and rounding. Two products may use the same permitted base mesh. Matching geometry does not show who made it, whether reuse was permitted, or whether textures were copied.
Materials, texture images, UVs, skeletons and animations are not compared. Preview rotation changes the camera only. Use the mesh demo to see a known matching pair.

Saved comparisons keep their own file selections, crops, view settings and observations. Referenced source files stay in the case until their saved comparisons are removed. Add observations below before saving.
Fingerprints and method
Saved comparisons
One case can hold up to 60 separate checks.
Keep different regions or file pairs together. Restore a saved comparison to inspect its original selection. The saved record stays unchanged when you continue editing.
The HTML review includes processed thumbnails, source labels, your notes and measurements. It can be printed or saved as a PDF from your browser. Use Save case to include the original uploaded files.
Start with links
Paste product links or PIDs on each side, one per line. You can start and save a case with links only, then add images or OBJ files when available.
Product IDs are recognised from IMVU catalog URLs or numbers. Other web links can be kept as references. Page contents, images and meshes are not downloaded or checked.
AReference links
BComparison links
What do links tell us?
They identify the products you want to review and help another tester open the same pages. A repeated PID can flag that you entered the same product on both sides. Different PIDs alone tell us nothing about visual similarity or ownership.
Product details
Keep names and context with the comparison. You can document any product category using images. Links identify the products; this offline tool does not fetch their files or verify the listings.
Add URLs and PIDs in the Links tab. For several source products, put the matching PID in each image’s label on the Compare screen.

Creator report CSV viewer
Import a CSV you obtained from IMVU’s Extended Creator Reports, or another comparison list. Choose which columns contain reference and comparison PIDs, then add a row to your Links tab.
IMVU’s reports concern mesh and animation similarities, not textures. Properly derived products are excluded by IMVU’s documented report process. Imported data is shown as supplied; this app does not verify its source or identify infringement.
Official report guide ↗UTF-8 text · maximum 2 MB, 5,000 rows and 80 columns. The first row is treated as column headings. No fixed IMVU column names are assumed.
Check the column mapping before using a row. Adding links appends to your case and keeps your other evidence.
Creator resources
Reference links included with the v0.4 prototype. Check the linked official pages for current guidance; access requirements and services can change.
External links open in another tab. No evidence is sent automatically. If you upload an image to another service, its terms and privacy rules apply. Search results or dates do not establish ownership.
No resources match this search.
Quick start
Add images to A and B. Use Ctrl or Shift in the file picker to choose more than one. You can also drop files on a card or paste a screenshot outside text fields after selecting a paste target.
Select a view from each file list. Drag on the previews to crop the same detail.
Try grayscale, edges and brightness balance. Move the overlay slider to inspect alignment.
Add observations beneath the result and save the comparison with a name. Saved comparisons has a full review export; PNG and findings JSON export the current selection.
Use Save case to keep all uploaded files, settings, links, product details and notes together. Load case restores them later. You can also save a case that contains only links.
New case clears the current workspace. Save first if you want to keep it. Reloading also starts blank.
What can I compare?
Any product category through images: clothing, hair, skins, accessories, rooms, furniture, pets and more. Supply screenshots, renders or texture images you have access to.
Geometry: an optional advanced check requiring both reference and comparison OBJ files. If either is unavailable, use images. Other native product formats are not parsed. A shared base mesh can explain matching geometry; this check cannot detect copied textures.
Motion and sound: still images can document a pose or a moment in an animation; this version does not compare animation timing, video or audio. The CSV viewer can retain IMVU report rows concerning animation assets without analysing the animations itself.
Links and PIDs: saved context and clickable references. They are not asset downloads or verified ownership information.
Read the measurements
Mean pixel difference ranges from 0 to 255. Lower values mean closer processed pixels for the selected areas and settings.
Brightness correlation runs from −1 to +1. It describes brightness patterns and is unavailable for nearly flat areas. It is not a probability of copying.
B is resized to A’s analysis grid. Different poses, framing, printed patterns and shared meshes affect the result. Check the original previews as well as filtered crops.
Similarity does not establish authorship, permission or infringement. Keep the original evidence.
Files and privacy
The HTML starts empty and contains no creator case files. No file uploads or automatic network requests from this comparison workspace. The surrounding website runs its usual Wix services.
Your theme preference may be remembered by this browser. Case contents stay in memory until you save or close the tab.
PNG is a readable comparison. Findings JSON contains settings and selected file fingerprints, without images. Case JSON includes all uploaded images and OBJ files, saved comparisons, an imported CSV, product details, source notes and your checklist.
Up to 20 images and 10 OBJ files per side. Each file: 20 MB maximum. Whole case: 60 MB of source files and 80 megapixels of decoded images. One image: 32 megapixels. Saved comparisons: 60 maximum; processed thumbnails: 12 MB maximum; imported CSV: 2 MB maximum.
Screenshot and context checklist
These are your review notes, not automatic checks or a verdict. They are saved with the case.
Use a similar camera angle, pose, light, zoom and background. Capture front, back and the detail of interest. Keep unedited source files and record where each image came from. Texture files and rendered screenshots are different kinds of evidence.
Check the derivation context: IMVU permits properly derived products, including zero-change derives. A shared base can explain similarities. Catalog icons and promotional images are a separate consideration in IMVU’s guidance. Read the official explanation ↗
Technical comparison limits
Image analysis uses a 256-pixel-wide grid with height limited to 64–512 pixels. Transparent areas are composited on white. Brightness balance adjusts luma mean to 128 and standard deviation to 45, with clipping; nearly flat areas use gain 1. Edges use Sobel luminance gradients. The difference map is amplified 4×. Browser resampling may cause small numerical differences.
OBJ limits: 60,000 vertices and 100,000 triangles. Coordinates are centred and uniformly scaled, then rounded to 0.00001. Vertex order and triangle winding are ignored. Rotation and remeshing affect matches. Concave polygon faces may triangulate incorrectly; export triangles for reliable comparison.
File hashes identify bytes, not the author. Report timestamps use the device clock. This tool does not block extraction, verify ownership, submit complaints or verify the contents of an imported CSV report. Independent tool, not affiliated with IMVU.
Testing feedback
When reporting a problem, include v0.4, your browser, the steps you took, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot of the issue helps. Share a saved case only if you are comfortable sharing every file and note inside it.
94 automated calculation and interaction-state checks passed, including paste/drop routing, zoom state, saved comparisons, old case files, CSV parsing and mapping, source notes and exports. A PNG export was rendered and visually inspected. Full browser layout, clipboard/file-picker integration, printing and downloads still need a live browser check; the build environment does not permit opening this local HTML in its cloud browser.
